Silver Bengals are the "hot" new color in bengals since being accepted in 2004 by TICA as an officially recognized color in the breed (and therefore slightly higher priced than other color bengals). A silver bengal should have a background color that is silver to whitish, with black markings. Silver bengals can be either spotted or marbled. A small degree of tarnishing (yellowing) is acceptable, especially along the spine, legs, muzzle and face. Although the less tarnish there is, the better the quality. Eye color may be gold, copper, green, bronze, brown or hazel--so far our silver bengals here all have green eyes.
